Our board-certified physicians and nationally certified nurse practitioners are available 24/7/365.

Optum Virtual Care is available in all 50 states for UnitedHealthcare and Surest members with an eligible plan. Check with your health plan to learn more.

Preparing for your virtual visit

Virtual care gives you several ways to connect with your doctor and get the care you need.

Prep your space

Take a few minutes before your virtual visit to prepare.

 

  • Choose a quiet and private area to avoid interruptions  
  • Position yourself in a well-lit room and try to avoid windows in the background

Get your information ready

It’s a good idea to have your questions and information on hand.

 

  • Bring your health plan ID card 
  • Jot down any questions you want to ask your provider  
  • Have a list of your prescriptions and over-the counter medications ready to share  

Check your tech

To ensure a smooth experience, take a few minutes to check your tech.
